The IJF World Judo Tour returns to Budapest for a supershow.

The Hungarian Judo Association has a tremendous level of experience and expertise when it comes to staging major judo events, including the 2017 World Championships, and enjoys a wonderful working relationship with the IJF.

I am delighted to be able to extend a very warm welcome to you and gives me a great pleasure to have you in our beautiful capital.

This unique event continous to prove international high performance of judokas. We are honored that the IJF entrusted our association again with organizing this highly important competition.

The staging of this event has been made possible by the collaboration of dedicated organisers, generous sponsors, loyal patrons and many other supporters to whom I offer my sincere thanks.

I want to express my particular thanks to Mr. Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation, who has given exceptional support over many years to the Hungarian Judo Association.

We will continue to devote our best efforts to ensure successful organization of Budapest Judo Grand Prix. I take this opportunity to wish success to all competitors and to all spectators and enjoyable and memorable stay in Budapest.
